A well designed team page features all of the players on the team. Kids like to see themselves, and yearbooks are popular because they display kids. If a yearbook does not include a child, and then the child sees the book, it makes the book less interesting to the child. In fact, it even makes the yearbook experience bad.
Team pages are very important in building a yearbook. Roughly half of all pages included in youth sports yearbook projects are team pages.
The solution is to feature all kids in the book, and a team page is an ideal place to do this. The team page is the one page that a volunteer can easily include all kids.
The simplest way to feature kids on a page is by including a team photo and the team roster. This insures that every kid will be featured at least two times in the book.
